What is a "Podcast"?

A Podcast is a way of transmitting information, either audio or video, and somtimes both over the internet with a RSS feed.

Podcasting, which gets its name from Apple's iPod, does not require any type of Portable Music device. In fact many people burn podcasts to a cd to listen to in their car.
